BIO

I received my Masters in Clinical Social Work and my post-graduate training in Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Imago and IFS (Internal Family Systems).  Before opening my private practice, I worked extensively in New York City with addicts in recovery and mandated for treatment by the court system.

I have been working with individuals and couples in my private practice in New York City and Warwick, NY as well as providing supervision and volunteering at Maria Droste Counseling Services for over 10 years.

My mindfulness meditation practice and my training in the Gestalt psychotherapy model has transformed my life as well as my practice and continues to enrich the lives of many clients.  My current training in IFS has deepened and structured my work and allowed me to grow and be connected to another  wonderful community of psychotherapists.

I managed an architectural design business in New York City for over 20 years and have been a working painter and sculptor for all of my adult life.  My experience as a small creative business manager and an artist has enhanced my clinical work.
